Property Debt Research has been participating in this program since 2015 and is once again proud to award two Scholarships through the Florida Land Title Association (FLTA) Scholarship program. After attending FLTA and learning of their scholarship programs we felt compelled to give back to the industry that was providing so much to PDR. Rather than simply sponsoring a one-night party for the attendees we decided it would be more meaningful to participate in the FLTA scholarship program by providing two scholarships every year. The scholarships are awarded based on criteria developed by the FLTA Scholarship Committee.
The amount of each scholarship award is $1,000 and is awarded at the FLTA Annual Convention each November. The scholarship committee, which consists of members of the Past President’s Council, reviews the submissions and make their selection based on major field of study, grade point average, and other information provided by the applicant.
Applicants also submit a one-page essay describing future goals upon completion of higher education.
Through these scholarship awards, Property Debt Research aims at helping high achieving students pursue their educational goals.
This year’s recipients of the Property Debt Research 2019 Scholarships are: Zaire Johnson of Tampa, FL and Andrew Drobisch of Land O’ Lakes, FL.
Congratulations to these remarkable students who exemplified a commitment to excellence as demonstrated by their educational efforts and strong involvement in community activities. We wish them well in all of their academic endeavors.
